Cupcake Cake Pops



Here are my first attempt at cake pops, in the style of mini cup cakes! They took foreverrr but turned out amazing, in taste and presentation. I used a chocolate cake base with buttercream icing for the cake balls. For future reference chocolate cake and cake pops covered in chocolate, a little too much chocolate. I would suggest the confetti cake mix for these cup cake style pops. Hint: if you want you can dye the icing a colour so when you bite in they aren't just white! When making these form the cake balls more round at the top and thiner at the bottom. Dip the bottoms in the plain milk chocolate first, then insert stick, put back in fridge to set, then dip in coloured chocolate and immediately put sprinkles and m&m on top! store in fridge until ready to eat!
